is a running account of my journey with a new MAS Socket. There
are so many people asking about this new design, that I thought
it might be a good idea to share my experience as I go along, as
honestly as I can. My prosthetist went to a MAS workshop in the
States in July this year, so this is new for both of us. Please

time you've run into this new kind of socket. "Controversial"?

I am.........
38 years old (now
in 2005); weigh in at 50 kgs; currently using Ischial Containment
suction socket; Total 2000 knee and flex foot; have fairly long
residual limb; moderately active; lost my leg in a car accident
in 1995; big wuss...and here's my diary....
